How to Use Lesson Plans
These lesson plans were originally included in a Discovery Kit that is available to check out from the Museum.
The Discovery Kit is designed to be a resource for educators to vary their classroom activities and make history come alive for their students. Included in the kit are objects that illustrate the topic, lesson plans, activities, and books appropriate for different ages.
Most of these lesson plans can be used on your own without checking out the Discovery Kit.
