Dr. Howard Miller Lecture Series – Athens of Indiana: The Pre-War Years by Beth Swift

Former Wabash College Archivist Beth Swift will give a lecture called Athens of Indiana: The Pre-War Years about Montgomery County prior to the Civil War. Included in her talk will be the Wabash College Cadets, a militia formed of local college students that trained alongside Lew Wallace’s Montgomery Guards militia.
The talk will be held in the Carriage House Interpretive Center at the General Lew Wallace Study & Museum on Thursday, September 26 at 7:00 pm.
